Preparing your artwork
A banner is read from across a car park, so it needs far less resolution than a sticker — 50 DPI at full size already looks sharp at normal viewing distance.
Keep logos and text at least 1 inch inside the edge. Hems fold over the face and grommets punch through it, so anything closer can end up folded away or holed.
Export as PDF where you can. It keeps text crisp at any size and is the format least likely to surprise either of us.
Design at the finished proportions if possible. A 3:1 file on a 2:1 banner either letterboxes or gets cropped, and you will be asked to choose which.

A human checks your artwork
Every file is reviewed against the size you picked before it prints. If something looks wrong, we come back to you rather than printing it anyway.

Questions
How long will a vinyl banner last outdoors?
13oz vinyl is rated for around three years outdoors in Colorado sun and wind. Indoors it will outlast that comfortably.
Do I need grommets?
If you are hanging it with rope, zip ties or hooks, yes. Grommets go in the corners by default. If you are sliding it onto a frame or pole, pole pockets are the better choice.
What if my artwork is the wrong shape?
You will see both outcomes side by side before you order — the whole design letterboxed, or the banner filled with the edges cropped — and you pick. Nothing is decided for you.
Can you print a banner larger than 10 feet?
The configurator goes to 120 inches wide. For anything larger, get in touch and we will quote it directly.
