Preparing your artwork

  1. Aluminum is usually read closer than a banner, so give it more resolution — around 100 DPI at final size looks crisp at conversational distance.

  2. Keep critical content 1 inch inside the edge. Mounting holes are drilled half an inch in, and standoffs sit an inch in, so the margin protects your artwork from the hardware.

  3. High contrast wins outdoors. Thin light text on a light background disappears in direct sun in a way it never does on your monitor.

  4. Vector artwork (PDF or SVG) prints sharpest for text and logos, and it never has a resolution problem at any size.

What we commit to

A human checks your artwork

Every file is reviewed against the size you picked before it prints. If something looks wrong, we come back to you rather than printing it anyway.

Ships in 2–3 business days

Production starts once your artwork is approved. We will tell you before anything goes on press if we spot a problem.

Questions

Will an aluminum sign rust?

No. Aluminum does not rust, which is why it outlasts steel outdoors without any coating maintenance.

How do I mount it?

Drilled holes are the simplest — screws or bolts straight through into a wall or post. Standoffs give a floating, more finished look for building identification.

Can it be printed on both sides?

Not today — signage here is printed single-sided, and the specs on this page say so rather than leaving you to find out. If you need a two-sided sign, get in touch and we will quote it directly.
